I just calculated my savings from the new high efficiency Navien/Triangle Tube natural gas heat and hot water system you installed 13 months ago. In calendar year 2010 I paid $5,933.46 for heating oil (around $3.85/gallon). In calendar year 2011, I paid $2,089.26 for natural gas for a savings of $3,844.20 or 65%. And that is just the fuel. It doesn't include the savings of $450 per year for my oil system service plan.

Granted, this has been a particularly warm winter so maybe my savings would not have been quite as high. But, consider this, I also had you install a new gas clothes dryer and I raised the heat in my house from 68 degrees to a more comfortable 70 degrees. Let's say the extra gas usage from the higher thermostat and the clothes dryer offsets the warmer weather. In that case, I will save enough money in three and a half years to pay for the boiler, the hot water tank, the new high efficiency gas clothes dryer and a new high efficiency washing machine. After that, it is money in the bank.

But, it gets better, since you put in the new systems, I have never run out of hot water - I used to run out of hot water all the time. And, I have never come home from work to a cold house or had to wait three hours for a repair man to fix my boiler so I could begin to have heat. I am not only saving lots of money but I am living more comfortably.

For the past 15 years, B&D Controlled Air has serviced our HVAC Systems. Throughout our relationship they have provided valuable services to our current equipment.
